Supernatural Principals Of The Kingdom Of God

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.(Proverbs 4:5)

"Because you have not requested riches and honor but only that which would benefit all the people, I will give you not only an understanding heart like none other before or after you ... but also riches and honor like no other king in your days." (1 Kings 3:7-13)

God wants His people to be successful. In order for that to happen we have to acquire, first, knowledge of how the kingdom of God works. There are certain principals of success in the bible that are hidden like precious jewels and for anyone willing to search the scriptures with understanding they can be found.

Before David died he appointed his 12 year old son, Solomon as king. We know that King Solomon was considered the richest man in Israel.  He built the temple in Jerusalem and reigned over the most prosperous time in the history of Israel.

David used these words, often repeated at the Bar Mitzvah of Jewish boys at the age of 12;

"I go the way of all the earth. You shall be strong, therefore, and show yourself a man, and keep the charge of the Lord your God to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes and His commandments and His testimonies. As it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn." (1 King 2:2-3)

God has been teaching me some of the hidden knowledge of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God, is not the Kingdom of this world. The Kingdom of this world is a kingdom in which a person works hard for a company, and struggles daily with putting food on the table and paying bills. In the kingdom of this world we depend on ourselves for sustenance.

The Kingdom of God, however, works on supernatural principals. Once we learn what the principals of the Kingdom of God are and how they work, we can look to God for supernatural supply.  “Whoa’, you are saying, “Pastor Cat, are you telling me that God will supernaturally meet my needs and supply me above and beyond my needs that which will prosper me?”

The answer to that is a resounding “YES.”  The answer is in the above scripture references.  The answer is in understanding how the Kingdom of God operates.  I won’t be able to tell you all I have learned in today’s  message, but I hope to set you on a path of understanding. When we learn the key we can unlock the doors of opportunity in each and every part of our life.  Our finances improve, our health improves , our relationships with others improve and we are then able to be used of the Lord in the original plan He designed for our lives prior to our birth.

I ask you to stop whatever you are doing, and ask the Lord for understanding of this next part of my message. Pray for wisdom, for as you receive it, your life will change and go in a positive direction that will benefit the body of Christ, through YOU.

Read the following scripture prayerfully,

“However, we don't want to offend them, so go down to the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a large silver coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of us." Matthew 17:27

In the scripture above Peter was telling Jesus that they needed to pay taxes on the fish they were catching. Peter was worried about where the money was going to come from. Jesus gave Peter exact instructions on how to get the money, and how to pay the taxes.

Jesus, being the Son of God, could have certainly produced a coin miraculously right there. I believe He didn’t do that because He knew that Peter was a fisherman by trade.

I believe that Jesus was teaching a powerful lesson to us all in this story. Because Peter was a fisherman it was “natural” to him to fish for his income. Jesus was teaching the idea of using the substance and gifts we have at hand to produce miracles to meet our needs.

The miracles come in the form of idea’s we receive from the understanding of what we are naturally good at.  Each of us have gifts and if we are willing to use these gifts for the kingdom of God, God will produce more miracles then we can imagine to supply our needs. He will supply “manna” in abundance, so that we can turn around, therefore, and meet the needs of others.

The blueprint we are given is the same one that David gave to his son Solomon.
1. Walk in the ways of God.
2. Keep His statues
3. Keep His commandments
4. Keep His Testimonies.

If we live as God tells us is pleasing to Him, treat others fairly and with respect, keep the commandments and testify to others of the goodness of God, we can be assured blessings in the Kingdom of God.

God wants to give us God-inspired ideas to prosper us. Why? So that we can then turn around and prosper the Kingdom with our gifts. Until we can operate as citizens in the Kingdom of God we spin our wheels in trying to be successful. God wants us to be successful. He needs workers in the Kingdom.

We pray for wisdom so that we can understand what God wants us to do, and then we are shown how to do it. If we only operate in the fleshly worldly system we can never see the POWER of God.

In the Lord’s prayer, there is a verse we often ignore. God brought it alive to me one day as I was studying the Word. The verse says; “May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” In heaven there is no sickness, no poverty, no lack of any good and perfect thing. When we receive insight into this verse we see that God says we can have those things here on this earth if we follow His kingdom principals.

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:16 the following; “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”

Solomon prayed for wisdom and understanding and because he put those two Kingdom principals first, God was pleased and gave him riches and honors that he used to promote the well being on a nation.

God wants to give us understanding today of how the kingdom works. He wants us to ask Him for wisdom for God-inspired ideas that we can put to work for our increase, so that we can have more then enough to minister to His family. He wants to bless us beyond our wildest beliefs…but only when we are willing to be workers in HIS KINGDOM, and leave the corrupt kingdom of the world. That kingdom wants money to sink themselves in, money to enjoy the corrupt things that lead to the pursuit of the sinful things the world finds pleasurable.

God looks at our hearts, we don’t fool him. God will help us, when we are willing to use our gifts to help others. If you have the gift of hospitality, and use it for God’s people…He will supply what you need to do that with. If you minister, He will supply money to keep the ministry going. If you take photographs and use them for His glory, he will supply money for your supplies, ect. Whatever you gift is, offer it to the Lord not that you would prosper simply for yourself, but that the BODY would benefit from the use of your God given talent.

Then…God will begin to bless you, above and beyond others, because you have been a blessing to others. He delights in you, then, the same way He delighted in Solomon.

Father, we know that Your Word is a prosperity manual. Give us the ability today to see the total picture of what You desire to teach us. Give us understanding to see through your eyes, hear through Your ears, to feel with Your heart, To walk in Your steps, and to think with YOUR mind, which is within us all. Thank you for God inspired ideas for miracles TODAY! In Your Name, the Name above all names. Amen and Amen.
