Pastor Cathie Miller is an Ordained Minister; Counselor, Life Coach and Freelance Writer.
As a prior victim of domestic emotional and physical abuse, she went into counseling as a way to help others overcome the pain and heal.
She originally accepted Jesus as her personal savior in July of the year 1976. Through much personal struggle she backslid and spent years "fence sitting" with one foot in heaven and one foot in hell. She recommitted her life to Jesus and became an ordained minister. Just after 9/11/2001 the Lord woke her up in the middle of the night and gave her a vision of a hospital with hurting people fleeing, as if on fire. The Lord spoke to her the following, "These are my hurting children, some of them are in critical condition, as if in the intensive care unit of the hospital. I want you to share the things I have been, and will be teaching you, in order to help them survive the terrible times of the end days."
A few days later, she started an online mailing list which she originally sent through, "In Jesus.com", off and on for 10 years. She begin to teach hurting people the things that she had learned and was learning, as the Lord instructed her to do.
She still writes a daily feature called "Words of Encouragement." Now she sends the emails through Constant Contact, another email provider. She encourages people through e-mail and on phone counseling, she continues to write articles of encouragement to God's people.
She has written over 450 articles that have been published both in religious and secular venues. She is a contributor for "Called" Magazine, a magazine for women in ministry. She belongs to Christian Counselors Group, Women Mentoring Women In Ministry, as well as Women Writing the West.
